A good question. I stopped doing SETI@home when the new BOING version came along. I really liked the first version much better.
I’ll have to think about it, and should I decide to resume, I will definately give consideration to joining your team. The recent e-mail from Arthur C. Clarke got me thinking about it again.
(I suppose even though I’ve stopped, I accumulated enough points to make it interesting.)
It´s the swedish newspaper SYDSVENSKA DAGBLADET or more correct: Sydsvenskan with it´s website Sydsvenskan.se that har bought a piece of land in Second Life
The layout on your blog is really excellent. Just thought I would let you know but I suppose you already knew that. Easy to read, nice three columns. Well done.
I’ve been getting an Error 404 message for several weeks when I try to log on to your blog. Apparently this is not happening to others. Any idea what’s going on?
George, I’m from Washington, DC and moved to Halmstad last year. Shortly after I launched JobsinStockholm.com for English speakers looking for jobs in Sweden.
Will you check it out and if you find the site decent, add it to your blogroll?
Do you know of any sites in Sweden who would add the JobsinStockholm.com widget?
Hi George,
I listened to your story last night regarding Easter Eve in Sweden. Thank-you for the insight. I’m very interested in finding the a capella choral piece that was featured during the the show. I’m unable to locate the story again. Do you mind pointing me in the right direction? I would like to purchase the music. Thank-you.

Glad you liked the program. It was a lot of fun putting it together. Did you mean the medieval Easter song or the Passion of St. John? The Easter song was called “Upp min tunga” by the group Svanevit, from an album that it is so new it still isn’t in the Swedish Radio record library. The Passion of St. John selection was by the early Baroque composer Heinrich Schütz. Not sure of the performers or record number. Please let me know which one you are interested in and I will try to get the recording details.
Thanks for responding so fast. Well, I found both songs intriguing; but I believe the Passion of St. John is the song I’m referring to. It was sung a cappella, right? Thank-you for the information so far, I’d appreciate any more that you have, because that specific performance rang beautifully. Kristalyn
