Too Popular for Facebook

If you are too popular, you can get kicked off Facebook.
According to IT24, Norwegian model Lene Alexandra Øien, a participant in the Norwegian version of “Survivor”, was removed from the social network Facebook after collecting 1500 friends. Citing the Oslo newspaper “Verdens Gang”, the report says the model, who the newspaper refers to as a “Boob Babe”, had used Facebook to market her career as a singer.
She had received one warning before Facebook took action. The reason given was that she had stretched the limits for what Facebook can handle.
After promising to limit the number of friends, she was re-admitted to the popular site. Commenting to “Verdens Gang”, Lene Alexandra Øien said “It is insane that the world’s largest social network has such limits.”
She now seems to have opened a MySpace account, entitled “Miss Boobs”.
